Quiet Colonial country home, nestled on 2.7 picturesque acres. Private guest entrance for an "inn-like ambiance. Private deck with hot-tub. Two main floor guest bedrooms which are great for guests with mobility issues. Both of these rooms have queen beds and ensuite private bathrooms. The Burgundy Room has a 4 pc. bath with tub/shower combo and the Brass Room has a 3 pc. bath with a large shower. The upstairs Blue Room sleeps four and has a spacious 4 pc. bath with tub/shower combo. The Guest great room has a queen size sofa bed which sleeps two and there is a child's size cot for the Brass room if needed. The great room also has a a fully equiped kitchenette with small fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster. The great room is a good place to enjoy the gas fireplace, a board game, cards or Sat.TV.

Bluebird Meadows Bed and Breakfast is nestled on a hilltop in beautiful Oro-Medonte Township. Our location is ideal, as it offers the traveler excellent sightseeing and recreational opportunities, yet is far enough away from it all to be private and relaxing. Our Guests can enjoy the private guest deck with 5 person hot-tub and lovely patio table and chairs. Great bird watching right on our property with lots bird feeders and nesting boxes. Enjoy the meadow view from our front veranda or stroll though our extensive perennial gardens. Take a hike down our road to a great nature trail or just curl up with a book in a tranquil spot.

We are just 10 minutes to the historic sites of St. Marie Among the Hurons, the Martyrs Shrine and the Wye Marsh Wildlife Centre in Midland. There are also great hiking trails nearby should you want to go for a hike or walk. In summer our local theatre, King's Wharf Theatre is located on the shore of Georgian Bay, nestled in Discovery Harbour, where there is usually a tall ship docked. Their toll free number is 1-888-449-4463. In summer there are the 30,0000 Island Georgian Bay Boat Cruises which leave from Penetang and Midland Harbour. (there is links to these attractions on our website) We are centrally located to all seasonal recreational activities: Nordic Skiing: Mt. St. Louis - Moonstone eight minutes away, Horseshoe Valley 20 minutes and Blue Mountain in Collingwood 45 minutes. Cross Country Skiing: Wye Marsh 10 minutes away, Horseshoe Valley 20 minutes and Hardwood Hills 25 minutes. Hiking/birding: Tiny Marsh 15 minutes away, Wye Marsh 10 minutes and Copeland Forest 5 minutes. Boat Launch: Georgian Bay 15 minutes away. Boat Cruise: Georgian Bay's 30,000 Island 15 minutes away. Swimming: Georgian Bay 15 minutes at Wasaga Beach (the largest fresh water beach in the world!)
