SPECIAL FEATURES

Butterfly Lake Cottage is a 1900 square foot cottage situated on a 1 acre grassed lot with plenty of room for volleyball, badminton and other lawn games. There is a hard sand beach with a shallow entry perfect for young children. For those who like to swim in deeper water you have the use of a floating raft and a dock. Butterfly Lake is great for water skiing, fishing and boating. A canoe is available for your use. Many golf courses are nearby. It is 5 minutes by car to boating & fishing on Lakes Joseph, Rosseau and Muskoka. Boats can be rented nearby.

INTERIOR DESCRIPTION

The screened-in Muskoka room has a lovely southeast view to the lake and houses an attractive hot tub for 4. A large glassed-in solarium is separate from the dining and living room. It is perfect for games, reading and quiet conversation. There are 4 bedrooms-2queens, 1 double,2 twins. Quilts, blankets and pillows are supplied but please bring your own towels and bedding. There are 3 bathrooms - 1 4pc. 1 3pc. 1 2pc. There is central heating and air conditioning. The kitchen is fully equipped, just bring you own food. The well water is potable.

EXTERIOR DESCRIPTION

Butterfly Lake Cottage is a large blue cottage on West Whites Rd. There is a large deck both front and back of the cottage. A propane BBQ and picnic table, umbrella and chairs are on the back deck. There are gardens and lawns with wooden chairs at the beach area. A fire pit is located near the beach area. Some children's water toys are available for your use.

ACTIVITIES NEARBY

Many excellent golf courses are nearby -Rocky Crest, Beaver Run, Kirrie Glen, Muskoka Highlands, etc. Santas Village is in Bracebridge. There is an access by public launch into the large lakes -Muskoka, Joseph, Rosseau. There are hiking trails, scenic tours, Cranberry Festival in the fall as well as Artisan tours. Many excellent restaurants are nearby in the Port Carling, Bala area. Winter is a good for snowmobiling and skiing. Butterfly Lake Cottage is a four season destination.
