Cedars Edge Farm

Our century farm house has been beautifully restored and upgraded with modern conveniences while retaining the original charm. The farm is great for families or groups, you can sleep up to 12 people.

New furniture, beds and appliances were installed December 2005. Central air conditioning.

There are 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms. The master bedroom has a queen size bed and ensuite washroom. The front bedroom has a double bed. The middle bedroom sleeps 6, it has two bunk beds, with double bottom, single top bunk - a great room for all the children. The sitting room on the main floor has a pull-out sofa, and TV.

The large living room has comfy furniture, large TV and a wood stove for atmosphere.

The large country kitchen is fully equipped, including a harvest table that seats 12, a microwave and dishwasher.

There is a washer and dryer in the large downstairs washroom. The kitchen is fully equipped, all new dishes, utensils, microwave and dishwasher.

The farm house lets you enjoy country living with all the modern conveniences.

Included are a propane BBQ, picnic table, deck chairs, fire pit, to enjoy the outside. Visit the our pet alpacas, Bert & Temprano.

All of the facilities of Cedars Cottage Resort, right next door are included. Children love to play on our shallow, sandy beach. Meet at the outdoor heated swimming pool (mid June to Labour Day). We also have a games room with pool table, shuffleboard, table tennis and board games. The children can play in the park, stop in at our tuck shop.

The use of canoes and peddle boats, life jackets and water safety kits are included. Rental motor boats are available next door. Lake Eugenia is well known for its great bass fishing.

Enjoy our 40 acres for nature walks. Walk through the fields and down to the undisturbed shores at the south end of Lake Eugenia. There you may see deer, beaver, herons, loons and many other types of wildlife. Walk up to the barn and meet our pet alpacas. In the winter bring your own cross country skis or snowshoes and blaze your own trail. Bring your skates, weather permitting we have our own ice rink.

Cedars is only minutes from the Bruce Trail, Canada's oldest and longest marked trail. The Beaver Valley is a great place to start on the trail. Enjoy the incredible view from on top of Old Baldy. There are several hikes available from this area. Cedars has several golf courses within a short distance and the back roads are great for cycling. For the alpine skiers we are close to some of Ontario's most popular ski slopes, Talisman, Beaver Valley, Blue Mountain. For those who enjoy cross country skiing we are a 15 minute drive from Kolapore Uplands Wilderness Area. The scenery is incredible, there are 7 waterfalls in Grey County, look out over Beaver Valley from the top of Old Baldy Mountain, explore the Feversham Gorge. Visit the Scenic Caves near Collingwood.

Cedars makes a good home base for site seeing, we are only 2 hours from downtown Toronto and everything it has to offer. Visit Niagara Falls one of the great wonders of the world, only 2 1/2 hours away. Or just stay on the beach and relax.

During Peak Season, July & August We book by the week, Saturday to Saturday $1,715.00 per week

Off Season $225.00 per night up to 6 people. Add $15.00 for each additional person, up to 12 people.

For Long week-ends, Christmas, New Year's call for rates.

Baby equipment available at no charge, let us know what you need when you make your reservation.

For longer stays call for rates. A 50% deposit is required for a 2 night stay and a deposit of 35% is required for longer stays.

For cancellations more than 30 days before your arrival date your deposit is refundable less $50.00. For cancellations 30 days or less before your arrival date your deposit is non refundable.
