CARACTÉRISTIQUES
This 4-season, 4-bedroom and 2-bath cottage is located just steps from beautiful Norcan Lake and 15 minutes from the Calabogie Peaks Ski and Golf area. The Lake House is a beautifully restored and expanded log home. The view of the lake is spectacular from the huge front deck.
Hiking and cross-country skiing trails are at your doorstep. There is excellent fishing in season for bass, walleye and pike and the many pan-fish provide lots of fun for the children. For naturalists the wildlife is amazing. Deer, moose, wolves, raccoons, otters, muskrats, chipmunks and red squirrels all frequent the area. Birders will not be disappointed with the many hummingbirds, grosbeaks, sparrows, finches, warblers, ducks, eagles (Golden and Bald), partridge, wild turkeys and herons (please see our website for some beautiful photographs, many of which have been taken by our guests). The safe sandy beach is great for building sandcastles, wading and swimming. Complimentary use of badminton sets, volleyball, horseshoes, two paddle boats and a canoe with paddles and life jackets are provided.

DESCRIPTION INTÉRIEURE
The four bedroom cottage lovingly incorporates the wooden floors and beams of the original log home with expanded large and airy upstairs bedrooms and downstairs master bedroom. The kitchen has a full-sized fridge, stove and dishwasher and is supplied with all your cooking needs including a microwave, toaster-oven, dishes, pots, pans and utensils. The kitchen opens onto dining and living areas with a spectacular view of the lake. Satellite TV and high-speed internet access will keep you in touch with the world outside. The downstairs bathroom is quite large with a separate tub/shower room. The master bedroom has one queen size and one single bed. The upstairs bathroom has a shower but no tub. Two of the three upstairs bedrooms have 3 single beds and one has 2 single beds. Two sofas in the living room can provide overflow space for 2 extra persons/children. A laundry room in the basement is equipped with a full-size washer and dryer.

DESCRIPTION EXTÉRIEURE
The Lake House cottage name comes from its position steps away from the lake, allowing the cottage a beautiful view of the lake from the large windows and from the front deck. The cottage is surrounded by grass and trees. The scent of the lilac bushes in the spring is delightful. The Lake House has been provided with satellite TV and wireless internet communication.
A propane BBQ is supplied for your use and is ready to go.

ACTIVITÉS À PROXIMITÉ
Calabogie Peaks Ski Resort and Golf Centre is 15 minutes away; Burnstown is a 20 minute drive and has lovely antique shops, cafés and art stores; Renfrew is 45 minutes away and Arnprior is a 50 minute drive. The lovely and historic town of Perth is 60 minutes away. Downtown Ottawa, Canada's capitol, is 80 minutes away and Kingston is a 90 minute drive to the South.
Calabogie Adventure Tours and Calabogie Run ATV Trail Tours are both 15 minutes away.
The Lake House at Canonto Lodge is ideally located for outdoor activities and for exploring some of south-eastern Ontario's most beautiful and historic cities, towns and villages.

INFORMATIONS SUR LE PRIX
Prime Season (May 1 - Nov 30): CDN $1800/week plus taxes for 6 persons or less. For each additional adult add $300 plus taxes per week. For each additional child under 12 years of age add $150 plus taxes per week. Weekly rentals only during the High Season. The "Lake House" sleeps a maximum of 10 persons in four separate bedrooms. $500.00 deposit is required.
Off Season (Dec 1 - Apr 30): CDN $1200/week plus taxes for 6 persons or less. For each additional adult add $200 plus taxes per week. For each additional child under 12 years of age add $100 plus taxes per week.
Christmas and New Years weeks: $2,000 plus applicable taxes for 4 persons or less. Each additional adult add $300 plus taxes per week. For each additional child under 12 years ass $150 plus taxes per week.
Regular Weekend rate: CDN $500 plus taxes for 2 nights for 2 persons. Each additional person add $75 plus taxes per night.
Long Weekend Rate: CDN $600 plus taxes for 3 nights for 2 persons. For extra persons add $75 plus taxes per person per night.
Deposit: $500 is required on booking (non-refundable). Pay by PayPal online, online bank transfer or send a check by mail. Please note we do not accept credit cards except through PayPal. The balance of your account can be paid by cash, travelers check, money order or your personal check, upon registration on arrival.
