Overlooking a quiet bay, & tucked away among the cedars, our privately owned, cottage is the perfect getaway & offers all the comforts of home including an outdoor HOT TUB! This well maintained cottage is situated on a private, spacious treed lot. Enjoy the fresh air & lake breezes as you relax on the large deck looking out over the peaceful bay where eagles, loons, & blue herons can be seen. The property is situated on the Lake Huron side of Tobermory & has a southerly exposure so the sun is at the waterfront side during the day. A paddle boat & row boat are included in the rental. (Life jackets not supplied)

This fully furnished 3-bedroom cottage is well equipped and offers everything you need for an enjoyable stay. The interior of this charming cottage is clean, bright and spacious with an open concept kitchen/dining/living area. Beautiful tongue & groove white cedar is through-out the dining room & living room. There are lots of new windows to provide plenty of sunlight and fresh air. Laminate wood flooring is throughout the dining room, living room, family room and in each of the 3 bedrooms. - All the rooms are on 1 level.

The comfortably furnished living room includes a new sofa & two arm chairs, a ceiling fan, a wood burning stove with glass windows in the doors which is ideal for watching the fire burning on those cool fall evenings, an entertainment center with a stereo, DVD player, VCR, satellite TV & a collection of movies, books & puzzles.

For added living space, walk through the French doors into the beautiful, newly built family room. The inside of this bright, sunny room is finished in white tongue & groove cedar, a vaulted ceiling with fan, lots of windows, and laminate wood flooring. Relax & enjoy the view from the large picture window that overlooks the water. This room is comfortably furnished & includes a corner fireplace (electric) to add extra warmth on those chilly fall evenings. Satellite TV is also available in this room as well as a PS2 & N64 gaming systems, connected to a 27" colour TV which are provided for your entertainment on those rainy days. Sliding doors take you outside to the sunny, waterside deck & patio area.

The newly renovated kitchen offers custom pine cabinetry, ample cupboard and counter space, ceramic backsplash and beautiful ceramic tile flooring. This fully equipped kitchen includes a new stove, fridge, dishwasher, microwave and wine cooler. Also, pots, pans, dishes, toaster, kettle, blender, drip coffee maker and utensils are all provided - just about everything you may need. A separate dining room is off the kitchen and comfortably seats 6.

The 1st & 2nd bedrooms are furnished with double beds, & the 3rd bedroom has a double/single bunk bed

The modern 4-piece bathroom (sink, flush toilet, bathtub, shower) has ceramic tile flooring, tub surround and sliding shower doors.

Outside sit at the water's edge enjoying the sights and sounds of nature at its best. Enjoy the peace & tranquility as you relax in the lawn swing or Muskoka chairs. Imagine summer afternoons spent on the deck - barbecuing, listening to music, reading, or lounging. Or go out in the paddle boat and spend a summer afternoon having fun paddling on the bay. In the evenings under the twinkling night sky, sit back and soak in the lovely outdoor 6 person hot tub located on the lower deck.

Enjoy the ambiance of summer evenings, gathered around the fire pit to roast marshmallows and to create your own campfire experiences with family and friends.

In the nearby town of Tobermory (10 minute drive), you will find lots of exciting things to see & do. Try scuba diving, golfing, or take a trip to Flowerpot Island on a glass bottom boat, or maybe a sunset dinner cruise aboard the Chi Cheemaun ferry. Enjoy the many restaurants, gift shops, museum, the new Visitor Center and the Sweet Shop. There are lots of interesting activities in the area for the whole family to enjoy.

Just a short drive from the cottage, are 2 beautiful sandy beaches - (Singing Sands and Dunk's Bay) - Singing Sands has a huge, sandy beach, public washrooms and a picnic area. The warm, shallow water makes it excellent for wading and swimming. Dunk's Bay has a smaller sandy beach.

For your convenience, there is a bank, grocery store, laundromat and LCBO/beer store located in Tobermory. Not far from the cottage is the bakery which uses the "scratch" method of baking. You will love their pies, butter tarts, pizza, & homemade bread.

1. CHECK-IN: 2:00 P.M. Saturday CHECK-OUT: 11:00 A.M. Saturday

2. Weekly rental period is from Saturday to Saturday

3. Pillows, blankets & comforters are provided.

4. Please bring your own linens & towels

5. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your week(s)

6. Balance is due approx 4-5 wks prior to your vacation

7. This is not a housekeeping cottage. Guests are asked to tidy up before they leave.

8. Children under the age of 6 are not allowed in the hot tub.

9. Cottage is closed during the winter.

10.We supply the 1st tank of propane for the BBQ. Guests to replace.
