SPECIAL FEATURES
This 4-season heated and air-conditioned log-construction lodge is located just steps from beautiful Norcan Lake and 12 minutes from the Calabogie Peaks Ski and Golf area. The Lodge is ideally suited for family reunions, large groups and special purpose meetings. The interior is finished with exposed beams and the extensive use of wood throughout. A large wrap-around deck has beautiful views of Norcan Lake and plenty of seating from which you can enjoy the view.
Hiking and cross-country skiing trails are at your doorstep. There is excellent fishing in season for bass, walleye and pike and the many panfish provide lots of fun for the children. For naturalists the wildlife is amazing. Deer, moose, wolves, raccoons, otters, muskrats, chipmunks and red squirrels all frequent the area. Birders will not be disappointed with the many hummingbirds, grosbeaks, sparrows (all kinds) finches, warblers, ducks, eagles (Golden and Bald), partridge, wild turkeys and herons, See our website for some beautiful photographs, many of which have been taken by our quests. The safe sandy beach is great for building sandcastles, wading and swimming. Complimentary use of badminton sets, volleyball, horeshoes, two paddleboats and a canoe is provided.

INTERIOR DESCRIPTION
The 7-bedroom Lodge is furnished with many antiques, but also with all the modern conveniences for your comfort. The kitchen has a full-sized fridge, stand alone freezer, microwave, dishwasher and a 6-burner gas stove. It is supplied with all your cooking needs, including sufficent dishes, pots, pants and utensils suitable for large groups. The dining room table will seat 14 and there are 2 gas BBQs just outside on the deck. The large living room with exposed wood beams, has a wood burning fireplace and extensive windows which provide a lovely view of the lake. Satellite TV and High-Speed Internet access keeps you in touch with the world outside, if that is your desire. The main bathroom offers a Jacuzzi bath to relax in after a day spent exploring the great outdoors, fishing on the lake, or just relaxing with a good book. There is a preparation/laundry room which has an additional fridge, washer, dryer and large sink.

EXTERIOR DESCRIPTION
The Lodge was named for its size and for the beautiful log work that comprises the majority of the exterior and interior of the building. The wrap-around deck faces directly onto the lake. Two propane BBQs by the back door on the roomy deck, are ready for you to cook your fresh-caught fish, chicken, steaks and hamburgers.

ACTIVITIES NEARBY
Calabogie Peaks Ski Resort and Golf Centre is 12 minutes away; Burnstown is a 20 minute drive and has lovely antique shops, cafés and art stores; Renfrew is 45 minutes away and Arnprior is a 50 minute drive; Kingston is a 90 minute drive to the south and downtown Ottawa, Canada's capitol, is 80 minutes away by car.
Calabogie Adventure Tours and Calabogie Run ATV Trail Tours are both 15 minutes away. The lovely and historic town of Perth is 60 minutes away.
Canonto Lodge is ideally located for outdoor activities and for exploring some of south eastern Ontario's most beautiful and historic cities, towns and villages. The Lodge is also a lovely setting for meetings and small group get-togethers.

RATE INFORMATION
Prime Season (May 1 - Nov 30): CDN $2,000 plus taxes a week for 6 persons or less. For each additional adult add $300 plus taxes per week. For each additional child under 12 years add $150.00 plus taxes per week. The "Lodge" sleeps a maximum of 14 persons in 3 rooms with double beds and 4 rooms each with 2 single beds (7 separate bedrooms). Weekly rentals only during the High Season.
Off Season (Dec 1 - Apr 20): CDN $1,200 plus taxes a week for 6 persons or less. For each additional adult add $200 plus taxes per week. For each additional child under 12 years add $100 plus taxes per week.
Christmas and New Year's weeks: $2,000 plus applicable taxes for 4 persons or less. Each additional adult add $300 plus taxes per week. Each additional child under 12 years add $150 plus taxes per week.
Regular Weekend rate: $500 plus taxes for 2 nights for 2 persons. Each additional person add $75.00 plus taxes per person per night.
Long-Weekend rate: $600 plus taxes for 3 nights for 2 persons. For extra persons add $75 plus taxes per person per night.

A deposit (non-refundable) of $500 is required on booking. You can pay your deposit by PayPal online, online bank transfer or send a personal check or money order by mail. Please note we do not accept credit cards except through PayPal. The balance of your account can be paid by cash, travelers check, money order or your personal check, upon registration on arrival.
