"The Haven" at Silver Sands Lake is the ideal Muskoka getaway, only 1 1/2 hours
north of Toronto. This cottage is perfect for families and couples. Comfortable
access to the private sand beach, dock and lounging areas makes this 4 season
cottage escape, well suited for both children as well as "Grandma & Grampa" too.
Nestled on a quiet lake, close to all amenities, The Haven offers relaxed
surroundings "welcoming" you to just sit back and enjoy.

INTERIOR DESCRIPTION
The cottage offers 3 bedrooms, queen beds in 2 rooms and a third bedroom with a
set of bunkbeds and a comfortable single. The newer sofa beds in the living room
may also be used for added sleeping. The vaulted open concept living and dining
room offer panoramic views of the lake and morning sunrises. The dining room will
seat 8 comfortably. The living room offers lots of space to stretch out and
lounge around the wood stove. The kitchen is fully equipped, whether it be for
your "gourmet" creations, or just heating a pizza. This cottage offers lots of
comfort and charm.

EXTERIOR DESCRIPTION
Located on a beautiful treed lot, on a secluded lake, which is bordered by Crown
land, the area offers lots of room to roam. With 3 large decks and a screened in
Gazebo, there are great spaces to enjoy the mid day sun, or find a shady spot to
lounge the day away on the terraced lawn. A gentle grade down to the water allows
comfortable access to the sandy beach, dock and fire-pit. The lake is spring fed
and is very welcoming on a hot day. Fishing is good, even off the end of the
dock. We have lots of "water toys": two canoes, a paddle-boat, splash island,
rowboat and kayak. There are many trails to explore on the adjoining crown land.
During the winter months, activities include: snow shoeing, tobogganing, cross-
country skiing and snowmobiling.

ACTIVITIES NEARBY
The town of Mactier is only 5 minutes away offering food shopping, Hardware
Store, an LCBO and beautiful new Library. Wireless Internet access is available
in town (no charge) at the library or coffee shop in Home Hardware. The area
offers numerous marinas with boat, motor, jetski and sailboat rentals on
surrounding lakes. Excellent courses abound, for the avid golfer.

High Season:
June 24 to Sept 1/2012 $1,995/wk.
Low Season:*
Feb-June 3rd (excluding March Break), and Sept 8th - Dec 16th, $1,350/wk.
"Special" June 3-10 or June 10-17th. $1,495 Seasonal and Winter Weekends (3 day
minimum) $750.
* Please note, No Weekend Rentals During the summer months. 3 Day Low Season
Weekends. "March Break" is High Season pricing.
Rental Period: Saturday 2:00PM - Saturday 11:00AM
** A $500 dollar damage deposit is required for all weekly rentals.**
