Sylvan Lake cottage, clean, beautiful, licensed

Imagine coming "home" to your very own clean and fully equipped little cottage! Everything is there for you, right down to the split firewood, all linens, even spices in the kitchen. This is a squeaky-clean cottage, modernized for comfort with tons of original charm and character. It is comfortable, appealing, and centrally located on a large corner lot. For morning coffee, you can choose the sun-porch with rocking chairs, or relax in the adirondack chairs on the deck and catch some rays while the kids play in the large fenced yard. On a cooler day, put your feet up indoors beside a cozy, crackling fire with a movie or good novel, or play a board game with the family. You'll enjoy the spacious deck for BBQing, and the fire pit for evening tales and s'mores. Just bring your own beach towels and beach chairs. Families or older couples/adults only please.

Kitchen has 6 major appliances, all smaller appliances, dishes for 12, pots/pans/bakeware/slow-cooker, spice collection. All paper products (paper towel, toilet paper, food wraps), laundry/hand soap, DW soaps, etc., are provided. Shop for your current grocery needs only. Main floor laundry with new, oversized HE W & D, iron and ironing board. Bedrooms have night tables and reading lamps, dressers, closets have hangers. Second bedroom room has its own TV, cable, Disney movie library, and ceiling fan...a relaxing spot for the kids at day's end. Living room/dining-room has deep cushion pull-out futon and love seat, wood- burning fireplace, TV, DVD, cable.

Large deck is 3 steps up from fenced yard, all patio furniture and BBQ/propane. Large yard, lots of room to play, yard toys, shade trees, weekly yard service (day may vary), and firepit with seating for six. Firewood is split and stacked---axe/weiner stix/firepit chairs provided. 2 offstreet parking stalls; cottage is located on a corner lot so lots of street parking available as well (suitable for parking your boat). Two blocks to marina and water.

A 2 block stroll takes you to the marina, waterslides, mini-golf, go-karts, boat/jet-ski/paddle-boat rental. Also located here are the merchant marina mall with coffee shop, restaurant/lounge, shops, and Sylvan Lake's lovely Golf & Country Club. 5 more spectacular golf courses are within 10 minutes drive. Public swimming beach is 3 1/2 blocks. We are across the street from Sylvan's paved trail system. Hockey school, aqua center, bowling, library, main street shops and dining are between 3 and 4 blocks away. This cottage is located in the heart of the town within walking distance to most amenities, in the quiet east end. The best of all worlds in Sylvan Lake!!

Early bird rate $1075 per week (July and August) for bookings received by Feb 28th; after March 1st, rate is $1100. July and August are weekly Sunday to Sunday rentals. *Reduced rates in June and Sept., minimum 3 night stay, average $650 per week, please inquire.

Payment terms for weekly rentals: 50% deposit at time of booking; remaining 50% plus security deposit at least 2 weeks before arrival date. Cancellations: Full refund on cancellations with 60 days notice and $25 cancellation fee. Full refund on cancellations with 30 days notice provided I can re-rent your week at same value (you may be responsible for the difference), and $75 cancellation fee. I will always make every effort to re-rent your week and usually can do so with enough notice. If your week cannot be re-rented due to short notice, etc, the loss of deposit will occur, ie. 1/2 of the week's rental, or the full week's rental if less than 14 days notice is given.

$300 security deposit, returned at check-out when cottage is returned clean and undamaged. Cottage etiquette prevails regarding cleaning: "leave it as you found it". Cleaning supplies are on hand and cottage must be returned as you received it.
