Tuscany of the North Cottage is where you simply must experience the stunning panoramic view of Georgian Bay

This luxurious, well-kept, elegantly decorated, 2000 sq ft., four bedroom home perched on the rolling hills of St Vincent, looking over Georgian Bay and the sparkling waters of Lake Huron is situated approximately 5 km south of Lora Bay beach and only 15 minutes west of the bustle of Blue Mountain Village if you are here to ski.

Entering into the ground floor, you'll find an updated modern 3-piece washroom (with glass shower enclosure and slate walls). Next to it is a family room/4th bedroom which remains cool in the summer, but has a wood burning fireplace in the corner to take the chill off on those cool fall and winter nights. It has a sofa and pull-out (double bed) couch. There is also a washer and dryer for convenience while on vacation.

Moving up a single flight of stairs brings you face to face with the reason why you are here, a floor to ceiling wall of windows with long, panoramic view of Georgian Bay. The cottage has a spacious, open concept with faux beam and stucco ceilings. There are dark cherry hardwood floors throughout.

The living room/dining room has a walkout to the wooden deck with glass-paneled railing overlooking the lake. There is propane BBQ and 6 person plastic patio table located on the deck. Enjoy a great meal on the deck while overlooking the sparkling water of lake Huron, or cook up dinner for the inside formal dining table. Either way, you can take in some of the most breathtaking sunsets ever seen. There's also another walkout from the kitchen to the backyard deck if it you're finding it windy. Enjoy the suns warm rays as you wait, with your coffee, for the rest of the household to rise. The living room is furnished with 2 couches and a pull out click-clack sofa, large screen (32") television, and a sound system for audiophiles to appreciate. There is also a remote controlled, gas fireplace set in a flagstone wall for either ambiance or function.

Adjacent to the living area is a large wooden dining table that seats 6 with a view extraordinaire out over the lake. Come on a fall leaf tour and you'll see the valley lay out before you like a multicoloured patchwork quilt!

The bright, cheery eat in kitchen is fully equipped. You will find a fridge, stove, over-the-range microwave, dishwasher and baker's rack. There is lots of counter space to prepare great meals. There is a glass-topped table for 4 for breakfast.

The bedrooms are on the upper level with the master bedroom (Bedroom #1) having a queen bed and a sliding glass door walk-out to a private deck overlooking the yard. There is a shared 4-piece, en-suite bathroom with luxurious granite topped sink counter. Bedroom 2 and 3 have brand new Mission-style bunk beds (single over double). Both bedrooms have fantastic views of Georgian Bay.

There is a large gravel drive way with parking for 4 cars. Huge Deck-glass fenced for unobstructed view of the Lake equipped with Propane barbeque, large patio table and chairs. Back yard with Stainless steel outdoor fire place for an evening marshmallow roast, and muskoka chairs. There are lots of trees and shrubs for natural shade and privacy. Both back and front yard are well kept and maintained.

After supper, consider a stroll along the quiet cottage road. Alternatively, drive into town and stroll around the harbour and marina or bring your bicycles and ride along the Georgian Trail (the old rail line) to Collingwood.

You have a choice of beaches nearby but you will need to drive to them. Lora Bay and Christie Beach as well as Meaford Bayfield Street beach are all sandy and about 5km away.

Golfing in the area is superb Lora Bay Raven and Meaford Golf Clubs are only 5 km away.

Bicycling in the area is good. Beware though the hill to the property is a challenge! Most of the rural roads follow the Georgian Bay shoreline. The town of Blue Mountain is less than 10 minutes drive from the cottage, it has fine dining, shopping and entertainment.

As a winter ski chalet, the home is winterized and located 10 minutes to the town of Blue Mountain. For advanced cross-country skiing Kolapore Uplands is a famous skiing, biking, hiking and climbing area. Georgian trail is only 3 km from the cottage and is ideal for the whole family. Bike, hike,run or cross- country ski at your leisure.

ALL WEEKLY RENTALS ARE FRIDAY-FRIDAY. ALL RENTALS CHECK IN IS 4PM, CHECK OUT IS 10AM UNLESS OTHERWISE SPECIFIED. COTTAGE CAPACITY IS 10 PEOPLE.

ALL RENTALS ARE SUBJECT TO 750$ SECURITY DEPOSIT, REFUNDABLE WITHIN TWO WEEKS AFTER CHECK OUT, WITHOUT INTEREST, PROVIDED THERE IS NO DAMAGES MORE THAN 10 DOLLARS.

FOR BOOKING/RESERVATIONS ACCEPTED METHOD OF PAYMENT IS EMT (EMAIL MONEY TRANSFER) OR CERTIFIED PERSONAL CHEQUE

RESERVATIONS ARE CONFIRMED WHEN DEPOSIT HAS BEEN RECEIVED ON A FIRST-COME FIRST- SERVE BASIS.

FULL PAYMENT(RENT AND SECURITY DEPOSIT)IS DUE ONE MONTH PRIOR OCCUPANCY. TO RESERVE THE COTTAGE MORE THAN A MONTH PRIOR OCCUPANCY, HALF OF THE RENT AND HALF OF THE SECURITY DEPOSIT IS REQUIRED.

THE OWNER WILL BOOK THE COTTAGE FOR YOU AFTER PAYMENT.
