Located just 2 hours north of Toronto and 15 minutes by boat from Parry Sound your island vacation awaits you. In one of our seven fully self-contained cottages you will be only minutes away from Parry Sound and shops yet you will feel you are truly away from it all. As a small private island family & fishing resort there is no need for keys and the lack of roads/cars make it very safe for children. Craganmor has purposely kept television and phones out of the cottages to enhance your experience! We strongly recommend you turn your cell phones off as much as possible and relax. We have satellite t.v. in the restaurant for sporting events and wireless internet available. If you need a dvd and screen in your cottage we are happy to arrange one. Located in the pristine waters of Georgian Bay Craganmor has eight acres with 2000 feet of waterfront and 700 feet of safe sandy beach. We are in the heart of the 30,000 islands with endless areas to explore or fish either by motor boat or paddling. Located across from the Northern boarder of The Massassauga Provincial Park we are close to hiking trails for you to explore without a motor boat. Fishing and Craganmor go hand in hand...we have great fishing for Pickerel, Bass, Pike, Lake Trout and Muskie. Check out our rates page for fantastic fisherman's specials! Craganmor has seven fully self-contained cottages. There are three 3 bedroom cottages, three 2 bedroom cottages and one 4 bedroom cottage on the property. All the cottages have kitchens with fridge, stove, microwave, coffee maker and oven. Cottages also have an indoor lounge area, outdoor screened porch, gas bbq and a fire pit. We provide all the bedding, dishes, pots and pans etc. You do need to bring your own towels and soaps/toiletries. The cottages are traditional and very clean. There are photos on the web site of each cottage to review beds, location and layout.

Craganmor is located on McLaren Island in the South Channel of Georgian Bay just 15 minutes by boat from Parry Sound. All seven cottages are waterfront with unobstructed views of the water and beach areas. Each cottage has it's own private waterfront sitting area, gas bbq and access to a fire pit. There is a large safe sandy beach for children and lots of dock space for jumping in the water for the bigger kids! For the little ones we have a playground with slide and swings. Our restaurant has a licensed waterfront patio for the even bigger kids! Sunrises and Sunsets are a spectacular site at Craganmor, we are lucky to be located on a point and get both! Fishing off the docks is also a very popular sport for the kids of all ages. We offer boat and motor rentals if you are more keen and have free use of canoes, kayaks and pedal boat. At any time we offer guided canoe trips, guided fishing trips or sunset tours - rates and times to be arranged on site by demand.

Being located on an island most like to stay put and enjoy being away. Activities include swimming, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, pedal boat, boat and motor rentals, licensed restaurant on site and good old sitting on the beach and reading a book! The kids often set up and play soccer or other beach games and we will have a movie hour for children if the weather is off! Our staff are great and when there are lots of kids around we will arrange games throughout the week. If you rent a boat or bring your own we are only 15 minutes away from the marina where your car is parked and you can go explore Parry Sound and all it's wonderful attractions and shops. We are happy to arrange tours either fishing, site seeing, canoeing, kayaking, hiking or sunset boat trips.
