Heron Shoal Cottage is a secluded oceanfront rental cottage on four and one-half acres on the north coast of Nova Scotia.

INTERIOR DESCRIPTION

The "cottage" is a fully furnished, 3 bedroom, 1,200 square foot, western red cedar log home. Amenities include: * Each bedroom features a view of the ocean o The master bedroom features a queen size bed o Bedroom 2 has two twin size beds o Bedroom 3 has a queen size bed * Each room has a ceiling fan and a double closet * A full kitchen including a microwave oven, Dishwasher, full size refrigerator and stove * A dining room that will comfortably seat six * A Great Room with two large sofas, a rocking chair and a huge log burning fieldstone fireplace * A full four piece bathroom * An automatic washing machine and dryer in a separate laundry / utility room * Telephone, Satellite TV, Stereo with CD player * Gas BBQ o Cooking utensils are provided * Bed linen and bath towels are provided (in-season only, see Rates page for details) Heron Cottages is kid & pet friendly!! This non-smoking home is pet and kid friendly!!

EXTERIOR DESCRIPTION

The cottage is set in a spacious grassy clearing down a winding treed driveway. The three hundred foot shoreline is less than 100' from the front deck, affording a full 180-degree water view of the Northumberland Strait, the warmest salt waters north of the Carolinas.
