Whitestone Lake Cottage

A new custom built Executive Cottage on a well treed property, is very private and easily accessed by a year round municipally maintained road. This south/west facing property provides all day sun and is over 1.5 acres in size with 130 feet of frontage on beautiful Whitestone Lake. Comes completely equipped with everything you need for a truly memorable holiday. All you need to bring is your groceries, towels and bed linens.

The well equipped, gourmet kitchen comes complete with stainless steel appliances including fridge, double oven, 5 burner gas stove top and microwave. A toaster, blender, coffee maker, Bosch Tassimo coffee maker, and all cooking utensils are included. The kitchen island serves as a dining/breakfest area and can seat 4 in comfort and dining room table seats 8+, the table with umbrella and 6 chairs on the deck is an ideal dining area outside when weather permits. The kitchen has slate floors and granite countertops. The kitchen opens up into a large living/dining room complete with high ceilings, 2 leather couches, 2 sided fire place, with 50” plasma TV, DVD, with a library of DVD movies for those rainy days. The side facing the lake is all windows, floor to ceiling, letting in lots of light and providing beautiful lake views. The cottage has two walk outs to a large glass railing deck overlooking the lake. The cottage has 2 bathrooms, one large four piece bathroom with a separate tub, and one with large slate walk in shower with a Rain Head. It includes 3 large bedrooms, master on main floor, with a queen size wood poster bed , and a fold up single. Up stairs you will find a queen and double in bedroom 2, and a queen and a 3 spare mattress in bedroom 3. The master bedroom enjoys views of the sun rise on one side and the sun set over the lake on the other, with a stone fire place. The games room is in the lower level, which provides a separate entertainment area and is a complete with a slate pool table, ping pong table, kids fooseball table, and a dart board. The lower area also has a walk out to a patio area over looking the lake. The cottage also has a large screened in Muskoka room, which is equipped with lots of board games.

As you exit the upper level of the cottage there is a large full width wrap around deck with a table, chairs , a couple of loungers and a brand new 7 burner propane barbeque for the Head Chef of the family which is covered by a large BBQ gazebo. Off the lower level of the cottage there is a walkout from the family room to a full width lower patio with a picnic table and other chairs for around the fire pit. At the lake front find a floating dock where you will find the canoe and paddles for your on water pleasure. If you plan to bring your own boat, there is a marina/resort across the lake from the cottage for all your boating needs.

Points of interest; Whitestone Lake Marina- Located across the lake from the cottage. You can walk, drive, canoe or ATV over. The marina/resort has a boat launch. There is a store for ice, toiletries, milk, bread, baked goods, eggs, dry and canned goods, penny candy and THE BEST ICE CREAM EVER! It also has a great restaurant, games room and a 9 hole golf coarse that should be ready for golf end of 2012. The Dunchurch General Store (The Duckrock) - 5 minute drive for gas, LCBO, bait, breakfast, boat launch, basketball and ball hockey outdoor arena. Parry Sound – 15 minute drive away for all your shopping needs. No Frills, Sobey’s, Shoppers, Tim Hortons, Canadian Tire, Hospital, Bookstore, Gas, gift stores and hardware stores. Many restaurants and internet cafes. Veterinary services, dog food stores and pet boarding. Sightseeing & Tours. The Whitestone Lake has over 42 miles of lake shore. It has a public beach you can drive or boat to. There are cliffs to jump from for the adventurous. There is lots of fishing to be had on this lake, even from just off the dock. You can catch large and smallmouth bass, sunfish, perch and rock bass. The lake also has walleye, whitefish and Lake trout. Hiking trails, ATV, snowmobile trails, good bake shop, marinas, bait shop, waterfalls and great resturants all within 5 miles of the cottage. In the winter, ice fishing, cross country skiing, snowshoeing and snowmobiling.

Minimum one week stay, winter weeks $1,400.00, spring, summer, fall months are $2,100.00 Half non-refunable rent due upon booking, the balance due on arrival. Move in/out day's are Saturday check in time is 1pm and check out time is 11am. A $500.00 damage deposit is also due upon reserving and is refuned after move out day after inspection.
