SPECIAL FEATURES
This boathouse sits right on the waters edge, making it a truly waterfront
experience. The cottage is rustic and authentic built in the golden age of
cottaging. This is not a million dollar redo, this is real cottage life with a bit
of "roughing it" compared to city life but still comfortable and enjoyable. The
view is fantastic to the south and east and has clean swimming off the dock.
Fishing is also great right off the dock or venture out into the many bays and
islands of Stoney Lake. Special bonus is the sandy beach next door. It is
fantastic for kids to play in being shallow and sandy, and also for adults to grab
a chair and cooler and spend some time with their toes in the sand. Cottage is
located within walking distance of Kawartha Park Marina for all supply needs such
as gas, food, drinks, ice cream, candy, boat launch etc.

INTERIOR DESCRIPTION
Comfortable, bright and airy upstairs. This is where the real indoor living takes
place. A simple galley kitchen with fridge,stove, sink with hot and cold water
(from lake). Table and chairs to seat 6 if needed (leaf in table). Living area
with TV and DVD player. A wonderful sleeping area with twin bed is nestled on a
screened porch-like area. The bed is surrounded by screened windows that raise up
and gives a feel like you are in a tree house!

EXTERIOR DESCRIPTION
The quaint boathouse is classic in design and nestled right up to the shoreline.
There is a great deck right out the double french doors that holds BBQ's and a
table set with comfy seating for 6 and an umbrella shade. The dock extends right
from the deck. There is a fire pit just off the deck. You can park one car right
next to the cottage and we also have a back lot that can acomodate other vehicles
as well. Exposure is South/SE so you get sun right from first thing in the
morning,then all day.

ACTIVITIES NEARBY
Many parks such as Petroglyphs Park, Lakefield Marina, Shopping in Lakefield and
nearby Peterborough, take in one of the many festivals going on locally all summer
long.

RATE INFORMATION
$900/week peak season (June to beginning of September) Sometimes long
weekends available $550 for friday to monday. No 2 day weekends.
