Fall colours in the Kawarthas is par none. Watch the deer come so close you can nearly touch them.
Winter can be the best, if outdoor fun such as snowmobiling, ice skating and snowshoes are your thing. Stoney Lake has some of the best trails available. After an invigorating day outside, warm up with the beautiful stone fireplace and a hot toddy!
Spring is the beginning of whats to come. Fresh air, new blooms, and the promise of another new start.

INTERIOR DESCRIPTION
Bright, sunny cottage with lots of windows and sliding walkout to deck. Open living room/dining room with stone fireplace, and large sun room. Three bedrooms will sleep 8 comfortably - two with queen beds,;one with bunk bed with single top and double bottom; plus 1 pullout couches for overflow. New kitchen with two fridges (1 is a bar fridge), stove, microwave, small appliances and all dishes, pots & pans, etc.
Newly renovated over the winter to include a new full length walk-in shower with glass doors, all new fixtures, floors and tile. Bedrooms have hardwood floors and pine ceilings. New furnishings give this cottage a beautiful new look. Includes 50" HD flat screen and Blue Ray player.
Linens and pillows are not included in rental.

EXTERIOR DESCRIPTION
Located on a large flat grassy lot on a quiet channel off main lake. Great fishing right from the dock. Channel opens up to picturesque Stoney Lake minutes from Doe Island where boats converge to enjoy the amazing rock face and swimming. Great swimming on the sand bar is 5 minutes away. Canoe with paddles, 2 paddle-boats and 2 kayaks are included. Enjoy all that Stoney has to offer during the day, and evenings can be spent under the stars roasting marshmallows over the outdoor fire pit. Neighbors are full time residents, so the atmosphere is most suitable for families and those looking for peace and quiet.

ACTIVITIES NEARBY
Close to many local attractions: Petroglyphs Provincial Park (705 877 2552) is a huge tourist attractions as are the Warsaw Caves Conservation Area. For those of you that don't like to sit still there is golf and horseback riding near by. Stoney Lake offers a boat cruise(705 654 5253) if you are interested in seeing the lake in all its glory. Fine dining is available right on the lake at many resorts like the Irwin Inn and the Viamede. There are many other favorites such as the Old Bridge INN and the Old Mill Restaurant. We also have our own local Stoney Lake Market for cottage treats and staples.
Stoney Lake is on the Trent System, a lock system that runs from Lake Ontario to Georgian Bay. Boaters can spend a fun day going through a few locks and taking in the sights at Burleigh Falls, Young's Point,
etc. Lots to see and do.

RATE INFORMATION
Rent - $1400/week. July and August. $1290 per week May, June,and September $350 damage deposit required. $500 deposit required to hold spot when booking. Full payment required two weeks prior to arrival. Renters are responsible for garbage removal. The damage deposit will be applied to any extra cost involved in repairing or extensive cleaning of cottage.
Week-End rental is available at $250 per night in off season. (this does not include Cleaning services) A $50 cleaning service is available if required.
