SPECIAL FEATURES
A secluded 4 bedroom cottage with over 300 feet of lakefront. Located on the
South West of Lake Kagawong between Fred's Camp and Mac's Camp. This is the exact
opposite end of Lake Kagawong from the town of Kagawong. Located roughly between
half way between Gore Bay and Mindemoya, slightly closer to Gore Bay at around 15
minutes driving.
This cottage has privacy. We currently have 2 cottages, sharing about 57 acres of
property and 900+ feet of shoreline. The second, White Pine Vista Cottage, is
over 300 feet away and we left a buffer of trees and brush in between the cottages
to act as a privacy buffer.
The cottage is located 66ft from the high water mark (as close as legally allowed
for the area). There are horse shoe pits, a sand box and about a quarter acre of
lawn at the cottage. There is a dock, with a buoy offshore for tying up a boat
(the cottage comes with a canoe for getting out to the buoy and back). Lots of
people, of all ages, have enjoyed swimming out front of the cottage over the
years.

INTERIOR DESCRIPTION
Easily Sleep up to 8 people; a second cottage is available on the next lot
(about a 2 minute walk away, private from each other by distance and a screening
of trees) and sleep up to 16 people, plus additional room for camping.
Two bathrooms (sink, shower, toilet, main level has a tub as well).
The bright, full kitchen (fridge, oven/stove, microwave, dish washer, plates,
pots, utensils, the basics to cook and eat a typical North American meal).
All water runs through a purification system, with a tap in kitchen also
running through a reverse osmosis (RO) system, so drink water and bath/shower
worry free.
The family room has a 20?+ TV hooked to a satellite receiver with movie &
sports packages, DVD player (with DVDs on site), stereo, and Microsoft XBox
(with a collection of popular video games). The cottage has a gorgeous stone
gas fireplace.
Washer and Dryer on site. Basically all the amenities of home in a private
setting (but only 10 minutes from town).
There are games, puzzles, many books, some about the area, lawn chairs/patio
chairs, a canoe, horseshoe pits, large dock, ample parking, everything we could
think of to help you have an enjoyable stay.

EXTERIOR DESCRIPTION
Water frontage - 300 feet on Lake Kagawong (South West side of the lake)
Dock
The property is on Patterson's Bay of Lake Kagawong (a small bay on a fairly large
lake. It would take about 1 hour to drive around the lake on the local roads).
The property consists of open field, cedar forest, mixed forest and limestone
shoreline. If you take a walk around dawn or dusk don’t be surprised to see a
rabbits or deer wandering around.

ACTIVITIES NEARBY
There are two types of activities to enjoy from our Manitoulin Cottages. First,
are activities on the property. Second, are activities on the island in
general. This is a very outdoor oriented area – there are a few very good
restaurants, some art galleries, and antique shops to poke around in, but the
majority of ‘stuff to do’ involves either, relaxing onsite, some sort of
physical activity or driving somewhere to look at something. If you are hoping
for a metropolitan experience this isn’t the place. To put things in
perspective, the islands deer population outnumbers the human population by at
least 3 to 1.
Summer is high tourist season, but any time of year has something to offer. The
tourist season slows down when the ferry stops its service for the year;
therefore, some activities stop or slow down.
If you are traveling from or through Southern Ontario take advantage of your
trip to the island. The Bruce Peninsula, North Bruce Peninsula is a fantastic
area with plenty to see and do. See how many of the Top 40 list of activities
for Bruce County you can complete.
If you are driving around (there is a bridge at the north east end of the Island
that connects it to the mainland) and not taking the ferry across to the island
then you can also check out these attractions. There is Science North, the
giant nickel and plenty of other things to do, all explained at the Greater
Sudbury District web site.
Property is located on Perivale Road West on the south west end of Lake Kagawong
(on Patterson's Bay) between Fred's and Mac's Camp.
