SPECIAL FEATURES
This cottage is located on Tennants Point, a private road off of Lakeshore Road on Lake Kagawong,
Manitoulin Island . There are 6 cottages on this long road, so it is very quiet and safe for children.
Neighboring cottages are approximately 200-300 feet away with trees in between. The cottage is about 60
feet from the waters edge.The shore line is rocky but shallow with a sandy bottom starting from the end of
the dock where it is about 3 feet deep. A canoe, life jackets are included.There are also horseshoes,
badminton, a swing, hammock and wood for the outdoor fire pit and indoor fireplace.

INTERIOR DESCRIPTION
The cottage is about 700 square feet. The interior is entirely finished in tongue and groove pine and
cathedral ceiling. The floors are ceramic tile. The kitchen-living room is open concept. The fully equipped
kitchen has a microwave, coffee maker and toaster and of course a fridge and stove. The living room has
an airtight fireplace, satellite TV, and wicker furniture. There is one bedroom with a queen-sized bed on
the main floor and another large (16 by 10 feet) loft bedroom overlooking the LR. with a modular bunk
(double on the bottom and single on top). Great for kids. There are 3 entrances, 2 of which are patio
doors. . There are decks on 3 sides so you can catch the sun all day long.The decks are equipped with
patio furniture a propane barbecue lounges and chairs.

EXTERIOR DESCRIPTION
The cottage is about 60 feet from the waters edge. There is a dock and boat ramp.You can bring your own
outfit or rent a motorboat.
The lawns are level with lovely perennial gardens and large shady trees.

ACTIVITIES NEARBY
The island features wonderful golf courses, horseback riding and shopping, all within 20 km. Some of the
restaurants are fabulous, and there are 2 take outs (4km) for those days that you need a break.A
convenience store and gas, as well high speed internet access at the Kagawong library all within 4km.
Some of our guests have proclaimed that the cup and saucer hiking trail is one of the best they have
encountered. There are many other trails on the Island.
