SPECIAL FEATURES
A creek borders one side of the property which makes for a wonderful natural harbour to dock the boats.
There are complimentary rowboats, paddle boats, canoes and life jackets, as well as a variety of bikes in all
sizes.Motorboats and kayaks are available on a rental basis by the day or week.
Our tuck shop is actually a lending library with books and DVDs, beach toys and board games. Our
frontage features sandy beaches and a gently sloping lake bed. The lake is spring fed and very clean.
Smallmouth bass and perch are the main game fish. We have never had black flies due to a lovely constant
breeze.
We feature a childrens playground, miniput,horseshoes, sauna, volleyball or badminton court, picnic
tables, lounge chairs and a bonfire pit. All fire wood is supplied.
We ask that any smoking is done outside on the deck for the enjoyment of future guests in the cottage.
We have high speed interent (not as high as cable but better than dialup). Depending on the weather and
time of day, you might be able to access the internet in your cottage but you should always be able to pull
up a comfortable lawn chair and access your computer closer to the office.

INTERIOR DESCRIPTION
If you enjoy wood, you will love the Doe. The entire inside is finished in tongue and groove pine as is all
the hand-crafted furniture.The kitchen-living room is open concept with high cathedral ceiling. The main
bedroom has a queen and modular beds, (double on the bottom, single on top) are in of the other
bedrooms. The 3 piece bathroom has a tile floor.

EXTERIOR DESCRIPTION
The Doe is 24 by 36 feet with a large privacy deck overlooking the lake which is about 10 feet in front. The
deck itself is equiped with patio furniture and a propane barbecue. The lake can also be viewed through 12
feet of continuous floor length windows and patio doors.

ACTIVITIES NEARBY
The island features wonderful golf courses, horseback riding and shopping, all within 20 km.
Some of the restaurants are fabulous, and there are 2 take outs (4km) for those days that you need a
break.A convenience store and gas, as well high speed internet access at the Kagawong library all within
4km.
Some of our guests have proclaimed that the cup and saucer hiking trail is one of the best they have
encountered. There are several other great trails on tghe Island.

$950 a week until June 23, 2013 and after Aug 31, 2013
$1200 a week from June 23 to July 13, 2013 and Aug 17 to August 31,2013
$1350 a wek from July 13 to Aug 17, 2013
