Sydney harbour is a working harbour and on any given day you could see fishing boats, Marine Atlantic Ferries to Newfoundland, cruise ships, ocean going freighters. You might even see a seal pop out of the water to have a snack or a snooze. All of this from the comfortable living room only 60 feet from the Ocean. Fully self contained cottage.

Ocean front access just 60 feet from the back step. Covered porch for rainy day relaxation. Enjoy a fire in the pit in the backyard with full view of the harbour lights. Go rockhounding on miles of rocky shoreline just seconds from the back door.

ACTIVITIES NEARBY

World famous 'Cabot Trail' is 45 minutes away, as is the most extensive historical restoration in North America at 'Fortress Louisbourg'. Louisbourg is an eighteenth century fort alternately inhabited by English and French. (depending on who won the most recent battles). Excellent period costumes and history lessons for young and old. Also within 45 minutes is scenic Baddeck which includes the Alexander Graham Bell Museum and world class Bell Bay Golf Club. Enjoy sailing ship tours of Bell Bay and the scenic Bras'Dor Lake. In addition, just one hour away, you will find the Highland Links, the number one rated golf course in Canada, at Ingonish Beach. City of Sydney is 15 minutes away and New Waterford is 5 minutes from the Cottage.
