Fantastic Viceroy cottage on quiet, private Fairholme Lake! The cottage is located on over an acre of beautiful, forested property. The waterfront boasts fantastic swimming and fishing with a floating dock, fixed deck on shore and gazebo for those gorgeous northern sunrises and sunsets. The games room features a ping pong table, pool table and foosball with a sauna down the hall. Enjoy entertaining or relaxing on the wrap-around deck. The spacious main living areas all bask in the sunny southwestern exposure. Sleeps ten.

INTERIOR DESCRIPTION

This fully furnished, non-smoking 2100 sq ft cottage sleeps ten. It has all the amenities including four bedrooms, two bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a great games room, a dry sauna, a spacious and sunny dining room and living room, a cozy wood stove, magnificent windows, satellite tv, and over an acre of land. The kitchen is fully equipped. There is a fridge, stove, oven, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, pots, pans, dishes, utensils and everything else to make your stay comfortable. The adjacent south-facing dining area will comfortably seat ten and basks in the sunlight. It also boasts glass sliding doors which lead to the south-facing raised deck. Our games room will keep the crowd occupied for hours! It is located on the lower level and has huge south facing windows. Better yet, it also has foosball, a pool table, ping pong table and board games. This room also has a sectional sofa bed, double in size. The cedar sauna is located on the lower level, close to the games room. With a built in lounger chair it encompasses the true meaning of relaxation. There is an exit right across the hall...rolling in the snow and hopping into the sauna can be exhilarating! It is heated electrically which offers you clean, quick heat. There is also an oil furnace and wood stove to ensure comfort on even the coldest winter days.

EXTERIOR DESCRIPTION

The cottage property fronts on Fairholme Lake. As a less populated lake in the area it is quiet and peaceful. Sport fishing species include yellow perch, smallmouth bass, lake whitefish and lake trout. The lake size is 66 hectares or 164 acres. The average depth is 17 feet. The maximum depth is about 80 feet. There is a shared boat launch on the lake. The shoreline perimeter is just over 4 miles. The shoreline boasts a floating dock with water deep enough for diving off of the end and a gazebo. The property slopes down toward the lake with beautiful forest and rock outcroppings between the cottage and the lake. Just follow the trail to the water! Canoe, pedal boat and kayak are included in the rental. There is a fire pit (burning permitted April to October only) and BBQ outside and a large wraparound deck.
