SPECIAL FEATURES
Pleasant woodsy area, about as close as you can get to Burlington and still in rural Vermont.


INTERIOR DESCRIPTION
Full kitchen, living room with gas fireplace. One bedroom has twin-size bunks plus ladder to sleeping loft with full-size mattress. Other bedroom has full-size beds, and opens up to living room with folding curtain/door. With extra fold-down futon couch, total sleeping area for as many as eight, but it's not a big cottage, so it would be comfortable for perhaps a couple with two kids or two couples.


EXTERIOR DESCRIPTION
Very pleasant deck, with charcoal grill and table, overlooks lake through the trees. Our lake frontage is down a short hill. Lake frontage includes a dock and canoe. Good for swimming and fishing. (Lake bottom here is not sandy, but stones, so there's no squishy surface to walk on.)


ACTIVITIES NEARBY
Very short drive to Burlington, a college town with many cultural activities, restaurants, etc. Many of our guests enjoy the Shelburne Museum (a huge museum with many buildings), the Vermont Teddy-Bear Factory, Ben and Jerry's ice cream plant, and other Vermont attractions. It's either a quiet getaway or a good home base for a Vermont visit for Burlington-are business or various attractions of our small state.


RATE INFORMATION
Standard weekly rate is $575 (plus tax), but sometimes lower rates during spring and fall, or last-minute vacancies. For shorter visits, two days for $240 and $90 per day after that. Minimum deposit of #100 secures a reservation.
