Muskoka Sunsets

This fully renovated, 3,000 square foot cottage is situated on Lake Joseph with over 200 feet of shoreline, panoramic view and beautiful sunsets over the lake. It features a boathouse with a huge sundeck, a dock with clear, deep water for swimming and a sandy beach for shallow entry.  Split-level design accommodates generational separation and offers walkouts to the deck on the main floor or screened-in porch from the walkout lower level. There are 5 bedrooms that accommodate 11 people comfortably, 4 bathrooms, a fully-equipped kitchen, family room, games room, and laundry room. are steps away from Rocky Crest resort and Rocky Crest golf course where fine dining awaits.

This comfortable cottage has 4 bedrooms on the main floor, 2 with ensuite bathrooms, and a third full bathroom. One bedroom has a king sized bed, one has a queen bed and walkout to the brand new deck with glass railings, another bedroom has a queen bed, and the 4th has 2 twin beds. The living room has a high ceiling, an oversized fireplace, satellite TV, comfortable seating, and a walkout to the deck affording a beautiful view of the lake. The fully-equipped kitchen has an island with 4 stools and new stainless steel appliances. The dining room has a harvest table with 8 chairs and a walkout to the deck. A laundry room with washer/dryer completes the main floor. The downstairs family room with satellite TV has a walkout to the screened-in porch with patio furniture. There is also a bedroom with a double/twin bunk bed and walkout, a full bathroom, and a games room with a ping pong table and walkout. Central air conditioning will ensure comfort on even on the warmest days.

A gentle walk from the cottage takes you to the huge 900 square foot sundeck atop the boathouse affording all day sun and sunsets over the lake. Glass railings around the sundeck ensure excellent visibility of the beautiful view. There are also comfortable chairs and loungers on the sundeck under a large umbrella. Water toys include a 16 foot canoe, a 3-person paddle boat with a bikini top, and a wide-body Legend fishing boat with a 4 stroke, 9.9 hp Honda engine. The boathouse offers a fridge and storage space, paddles and lifejackets. Please note that all operators of motorized watercraft require a Pleasure Craft Operator Card - Boating License so you need to plan ahead. The dock offers privacy in a picturesque Muskoka setting and the perfect spot to watch children play in the shallow water with sandy bottom. There is also deep water at the end of the dock accommodating older swimmers.

There are numerous events over the summer months in the Muskoka and Parry Sound areas for vacationers. In Parry Sound you'll find the Festival of the Sound preparing for its 29th season on the shores of Georgian Bay. Prices start at $4,500 per week - please call or email us directly. One week mimimum rent in July and August, other times a 2 day minimum, starting at $600/day. We require half of the total rental at booking time as well as a damage deposit.
