INTERIOR DESCRIPTION

Professionally designed interior centers around the connected great room, dining area, and kitchen, all overlooking the lake through a wall of windows. A separate family room features a large library of easy reading books, high definition flat screen TV with satellite, a stero system with over a hundred CDs to pick from, games, poker sets, and a wood fire. Each room showcases elegant bedding on a Therpedic mattress system. William Ashley dinnerware and stemware allow you to entertain in style. And patio set on the deck perched over the lake is perfect for an early morning breakfast - or a lite night apertif. A separate guest quarters are located on the second floor of the boathouse. A massive sleigh bed looks through expansive glass doors past a private deck onto the sweep of Lake Rosseau. Full bathroom and shower is available during the summer (closed in winter). A cast iron stove and electric heaters make it a snug hideaway in winter. A loft sleeps 3-4 kids, perfect as a place to park the in-laws. Weekly maid service will keep the cottage neat and clean.

EXTERIOR DESCRIPTION

Built with a Swiss chalet theme, the house is perched 30' above the lake with a commanding view from the second floor wall of windows. Granite steps encircle both sides of the house leading to 600sqft granite terrace perfect for BBQ or picnic lunches. Landscaped flowers enliven the edge of the terrace. A short set of steps continues to the land dock and fire pit on the left, while another set of steps goes to the right down to a 2-slip boathouse with generous "T" dock for additional boat berthing. A shallow beach is perfect for family fun, and low boat traffic makes it safe to swim to nearby uninhabited islands or try your hand on the different watercraft available. Entrance to the cottage is off a paved access road that is maintained year round. A long tree lined lane borders a big green lawn, perfect for croquet, bocce, or family fun. The house features parking for 8 cars on the property, with additional parking on the access road. Meticulously maintained with professional lawn care and a handyman on call - this is a low maintenance getaway for the discerning professional.

Boat across Lake Rosseau (rentals available from nearby Port Sandfield marina) to the exclusive hamlet of Rosseau, or the bustling Port Carling, or laid back Bala. Enjoy world class golf at The Rock, Rocky Crest, or any of a half dozen other courses within a 15min drive. Snowmobile and cross country ski trails stretch for hundreds of kilometers in the winter.
