Hardwood floors through most of the cottage including the 1000 square foot great room. High end furnishings throughout including leather couches, a sleigh bed, etc.

Two bedrooms with queen beds, a double sofabed and a separate bunkie for the kids with four bunks allows the home to comfortably sleep 10.

Bathroom with jacuzzi and shower. All expected and unexpected modern comforts (electric heat/woodstove, jacuzzi, dishwasher, central vac, etc.)

Large porch (40 feet) partially screened-in, gazebo, and two docks provide ample space for outdoor relaxation. Large property (30 acres) as well as private waterfront (600 feet) for exclusive use. Small fishing boat available upon request for an additional fee.

Chalet Frontenac provides an excellent opportunity to partake in many outdoor (and indoor) activities!

Swimming – Right from the dock!

Fishing – Bob’s Lake features excellent fishing. Fish include: Brown Bullhead, Chain Pickerel, Lake Trout, Largemouth Bass, Northern Pike, Smallmouth Bass, Walleye, Yellow Bullhead, Yellow Perch. For more information on fishing on Bobs Lake refer to the Bobs Lake Fishing Association website

Boating – Most rental boats can be docked at the property; additionally upon request, Chalet Frontenac has a 14 foot aluminum powerboat (7.5hp motor) that can be rented. Waivers must be signed to use the watercraft.

BBQing – The property has a propane BBQ on the porch, with an area for camp fires by the water.

Hiking – The area is a core for hiking and cycling enthusiasts. The 300 km Rideau Trail linking Kingston and Ottawa passes through Foley Mountain Conservation Area where other trails can also be explored. There are also many other Parks and Conservation Areas within easy driving distance that offer many hiking opportunities.

Shopping – Wesport, Perth, and Sharbot Lake are all within 20 minutes drive and offer plenty of shopping opportunities. The “Village Green” in Westport is particularly popular for unique gifts at very reasonable prices; they draw visitors from numerous major centres (Toronto, Ottawa, NY, etc.) especially around Christmas time.

Golf – There are over 30 golf courses within a 60 minute drive of the property, two of which are located just outside of Westport. Both are open to the public and boast beautiful fairway views of lakes.
