We are delighted to offer our cottage to you so that you can experience walking this peaceful island and experience its beauty and tranquility. Absorb the astounding views; listen to the tides gently role in; swim in the crystal clear water of the ocean; walk for miles on the sandy beaches; dig for clams or collect oysters in front of the cottage; watch for squirrels, deer, bald-eagles, hummingbirds & owls. Sit and relax on the 10 x 40 foot deck and watch the fish boats sail by or take in one of the spectacular sunsets. Savary Island is unique to the all Coastal Islands with miles of sandy beaches and warm swimming shallows. . The cabin overlooks Mermaid Rock located near the deep water moorage centrally located mid-island just a short walk from the island’s upscale quaint restaurant called, the Chocolate Lilly. This recreational property features 150 foot frontage ensuring your privacy and is known for its astounding view and beautiful summer evening sunsets.

INTERIOR DESCRIPTION

As you enter the cottage you will notice the beautiful stonework fireplace in the living area; you can then exit onto a completely private south facing rear deck. The living room has a queen size pull-out sofa bed, if needed, has two skylights for star gazing plus two large windows looking out at the breathtaking views. As you move through to the kitchen you will notice wall to wall windows located over the sink and main working counter top area. The kitchen is equipped with a propane stove and one fridge with an additional fridge located in the adjacent pantry. The main floor bedroom has an en suite door to the large full bathroom on the main floor. The upstairs living area has a library, small writing desk, one single and one double bed and its own private view deck where you can sit and enjoy the gorgeous view or just curl up and read a good book For your comfort and convenience we provide pillows, & comforters. Please bring your own towels & sheets. Our pump and generator provide lots of clean hot and cold running water from our tested well. The cabin also has electricity powered by a generator inverter and battery pack located outside in the ‘Jenny Shack’. We also provide a telephone for those quick calls or water taxi reservations.

EXTERIOR DESCRIPTION

The cottage has a brand new 450 square foot wrap around view deck with a walkway to another very private sunning area that overlooks the firs and cedars in the backyard. We provide the deck tables and chairs plus a propane barbeque. There is also another sun deck and a picnic table area on the high bank at the properties edge that over looks the beach. . If you want to collect oysters, swim or just walk the sandy beaches it's just a short walk to the Mermaid Trail (about 75yds.)

ACTIVITIES NEARBY

Savary Island is just so relaxing to just go for a walk along the narrow country roads and hiking trails which lace the island. Most of the trails lead down to the beautiful isolated sandy beaches. There are also bikes provided at the cottage which can be used to explore the island. If you would like even more exercise there are some weights and a rowing machine.
