SPECIAL FEATURES
Located approximately a 1&1/2 hour drive north/east of Toronto or 30 minutes from Peterborough this charming, 2 "plus" bedroom, waterfront cottage sleeps 5 comfortably. It is situated on White Lake (formerly Dummer Lake) in the beautiful Kawartha Lakes region. The beach offers a shallow, sand bottom swimming area. It is ideal for young children as you can wade out a long way before it gets deep. The lawn slopes gradually to the water and has lots of sun and shade.


INTERIOR DESCRIPTION
The pine dining area with lots of windows offers a great eastern view of the lake. Enjoy the ambiance of the electric fireplace that is situated in the living area. The galley style kitchen is well equipped. With 2 bedrooms and a third adjoining room there is comfortable sleeping arrangements for up to 6 people on a queen size bed, a double bed and a futon with a single bunk above it. The cottage is smoke free and pet free.


EXTERIOR DESCRIPTION
There is a sundeck, dock, picnic table, hammock, lawn furniture, gas bar-b-q and a campfire pit. The cottage is easy to get to, located on a hardtop, township road. The lawn gently slopes to the water with a nice mix of sun and shade.


ACTIVITIES NEARBY
The cottage is located on a scenic road that is ideal for walking or riding the three bicycles provided. Use our canoe, kayaks or paddle boat to explore our quiet little lake. There is fishing for Walleye and Bass. The campfire pit provides the family favorite evening pass-time of roasting marshmallows. An IGA grocery store, beer and liquor stores, pharmacy, laundry mat, video rentals, gas stations, churches, bowling alley, restaurants and a pub are all located close by in the village of Lakefield. Also, just minutes away you will find Pine Vista Resort on famous Stoney Lake, Little's convenience store, pay phones and marina, Petroglyphs Park, Warsaw Caves Conservation Area, Wildfire and Hamilton Bay Golf Courses, Peterborough Festival of Lights concerts, Canadian Canoe Museum, the world's largest Liftlocks, antique shops and a bait shop.
