SPECIAL FEATURES
Located on Julia's Creek, an inlet only a short 1 min. boat ride to the open waters of Stoney Lake. The lot is large and flat - great for kids and outside fun. The water is shallow; however, you are less than 5 min. away to Quarry Bay public beach and a huge sandbar. Minutes to Petroglyths Park, and close to Lakefield and Peterborough for shopping and entertainment. Great fishing for bass, pickerel and muskie.


INTERIOR DESCRIPTION
Bright, sunny cottage with lots of windows and sliding walkout to deck. Open living room/dining room with stone fireplace, and large sun room. Three bedrooms will sleep 7 comfortably - one with queen bed, one with double and single; one with bunk bed with single top and double bottom; plus pullout couch with double bed for overflow. New kitchen with two fridges, stove, microwave, small appliances and all dishes, pots & pans, etc. Linens, pillows, sleeping bags and towels are not provided.


EXTERIOR DESCRIPTION
Located on a large flat grassy lot out to the dock at the waterfront. Canoe with paddles, and a paddleboat are included free of charge. 16 foot aluminum boat with 9.8 hp motor available at a charge of $150/week. Enjoy all that Stoney has to offer all day, and evenings under the stars by the outdoor fire pit. Neighbours are full time residents. Suitable for families and those looking for peace and quiet. Owners use dock to launch boat for island access on weekends only.


ACTIVITIES NEARBY
Close to many local attractions: Petroglyphs Provincial Park, Warsaw Caves Conservation Area, golf, horseback riding, Stoney Lake boat cruise, fine dining at area resorts and restaurants. Stoney Lake is on the Trent System, a lock system that runs from Lake Ontario to Georgian Bay. Boaters can spend a fun day going through a few locks and taking in the sights at Burleigh Falls, Young's Point, etc. Lots to see and do.


RATE INFORMATION
Fully rented for 2008. Rent - CDN $900/week. Deposit required. Must be 18 years of age or over to sign rental agreement. Renters responsible for cleaning cottage before departure. Note: Special deal for Snowbirds interested in renting for six months in 2009!
