SPECIAL FEATURES
This unique island retreat features three separate buildings! A loftstyle boathouse, a self-contained cabin and a rustic bunkie. This makes it an ideal spot for a vacation with extended family, friends and teens! It feels far, far away from the hectic pace of city living but is within an easy two hour drive of Toronto! Please note that for 2008 I am booked from June 21- Sept 6


INTERIOR DESCRIPTION
The main cottage is the open concept, loftstyle boathouse, completed in 2000. It features gleaming hardwood floors, pine panelling, a fully equipped kitchen and extra sleeping on the pull out couch. Enjoy breathtaking views of sunrises and sunsets from the wraparound windows. The 12 x 25' screened in porch affords el fresco dining for ten or a relaxing nap in the hammock. The self-contained cabin was completely renovated in 2006 and has beautifully restored hardwood floors, pine panelling, a kitchenette and three piece ensuite. A second screened in porch provides the perfect spot for private tete-a-tetes away from the main house. A rustic bunkie sleeps four in a queen sized bed and twin bunks and has a grooming station with running water. Enjoy the cross breezes from all directions!


EXTERIOR DESCRIPTION
The water access is the main exterior feature! Two separate docks, a frog pond, two slip boathouse, fantastic fishing and great swimming surround the large grassy areas. Enjoy a bonfire in the fire pit. Extra big Muskoka chairs provide the perfect spot to take in the sunset and calls of the loons.


ACTIVITIES NEARBY
Visit the Warsaw caves,Petroglyphs, canoe around the lake, take in the boutiques and specialty shops of nearby Lakefield. Spend a day in Peterborough taking in the world famous liftlocks, art galleries and museum. Wonderful dining and shopping are nearby!


RATE INFORMATION
CAD$1300/July and August; CAD$900/offseason; weekends (available in May and Oct only)- two nights CAD$400, three nights CAD $500; security deposit required.
