SPECIAL FEATURES

Available all year this charming, 2-storey getaway with comforts of home is located on the lake, with on-site docking facilities. Warm and inviting, this cozy cottage has a large balcony overlooking the lake where you can sit and enjoy the view or have your meals. Table & chairs and BBQ are provided on the balcony. INTERIOR DESCRIPTION

A combined kitchen(with eating area) and livingroom, with cable T.V. and D.V.D., together with a Gas Fireplace for a warm touch on those cooler days, have direct access to the balcony. The kitchen is equipped with full stove, refrigerator, microwave, pots & pans, dishes, silverware, toaster, kettle, coffee maker and just about everything you might need. Just bring your food. A three piece bathroom with glass shower stall is located on the first floor. Located on the second floor are two good sized rooms - the first bedroom overlooks the lake and has it's own small balcony, double bed and lots of closet/dresser space, while the second bedroom has a queen size bed. All quilts, bedding and towels are supplied for your convenience. All rooms are very clean and attractively decorated. The first floor has hardware flooring while the second floor has pine floors.

EXTERIOR DESCRIPTION

Pretty as a picture, the cottage has lots of flowers, dependng on the season, and the lake has a sandy bottom which drops off gradually for safe swimming. Lounge and lawn chairs are provided for sunning yourself and/or for sitting around the fire pit and checking out the stars at night.

ACTIVITIES NEARBY

Casino Rama is located on the other side of the lake (approx. 22km) and has world class entertainment all year. Nine golf courses are located within a 20 minute drive. There is loads of shopping in nearby Orillia which has quaint shops, an art gallery, library, opera house (with live productions) and lots of fine dining. Yes, they have the usual family favorite restaurants as well. Take a spin around the lake on the Island Princess which runs in the summer. In the fall tour the area for the Fall colours. In winter ski at nearby Horseshoe Valley or Moonstone ski resorts. Snowmobile or ice fish on the lake. Every season has it's specialties. The Martyr's Shrine, Fort Ste. Marie among the Hurons and an Indian Village are located in nearby Midland and Santa's Village in nearby Gravenhurst. These are open in the warm weather months.

High Season - May l5th - Oct. l5th $850/week CDN Low Season - Oct. l6th - May l4th $700/week CDN Any 2 nights $250/ CDN - Available in Low Season Only To confirm your space a $200.00 booking/damage deposit is required at least two weeks in advance. Full payment is due upon arrival. The deposit is returned at the end of your stay. No additional guests may arrive without prior approval (except for infant children) and/or a payment of $l50.00 per person will apply.
