SPECIAL FEATURES

A creek borders one side of the property which makes for a wonderful natural harbour to dock the boats. There are complimentary rowboats, paddle boats, canoes and life jackets, as well as a variety of bikes in all sizes.Motorboats and kayaks are available on a rental basis by the day or week. Our tuck shop is actually a lending library with books and DVDs, beach toys and board games. Our frontage features sandy beaches and a gently sloping lake bed. The lake is spring fed and very clean. Smallmouth bass and perch are the main game fish. We have never had black flies due to a lovely constant breeze. we feature a childrens playground, miniput, sauna, horseshoes, volleyball or badminton court, picnic tables, lounge chairs and a bonfire pit. All fire wood is supplied.

INTERIOR DESCRIPTION

This 3 bedroom cottage has channel pine walls, a cathedral ceiling and hand-crafted pine furniture.The kitchen-living room is open concept looking directly onto the lake. the kitchen is fully equiped. The master bedroom sports a queen size bed, while the 2nd has a set of bunks and the 3rd a modular bunk ( double on the bottom with a single on top).There is a 3 piece bath. We ask smokers to smoke outside on the deck for the comfort of future guests. We have high speed internet (not as fast as cable but faster than dialup). Depending on the weather and useage, you might be able to access the internet from your cottage but you should be able to pull up a comfortable lounge chair and access the internet a little closer to the office.

EXTERIOR DESCRIPTION

The cottage itself measures 24 by 24 feet and features a large 16 by 20 foot privacy deck complete with patio furniture and propane barbecue.The Fawn is set back approximately 20 feet from the waters edge.

ACTIVITIES NEARBY

The island features wonderful golf courses, horseback riding and shopping, all within 20 km. Some of the restaurants are fabulous, and there are 2 take outs (4km) for those days that you need a break.A convenience store and gas, as well high speed internet access at the Kagawong library all within 4km. Some of our guests have proclaimed that the cup and saucer hiking trail is one of the best they have encountered. . There are many trails on the Island which you can enjoy

RATE INFORMATION

$850 a week until June 23 , 2012 and after Sept 1,2012 $1050 a week from June 23 to July 14, 2012 and from Aug 18-Sept 1, 2012 $1200 a week from July 14 to Aug 18, 2012 All cottage rentals require payment of the 13% HST also
