Once you selected a region, all properties in that area will appear. To find a wheelchair accessible cottages for rent, simply select the and filer.

Keep in mind that you can search on multiple criteria at once, for example wheelchair accessible cottages where pets are welcome.

When Renting Cottages

Before renting, it is good to ask the property owner about any special needs you may have. It is wise to ask to send a photograph of the bathrooms, shower, and any wheelchair access ramps. If you intend to do the cooking, ask how wide the kitchen area is and has it been adapted for wheelchair use in any way.

Major Cottage Resorts will generally have one or two cottages especially adapted for wheelchair use.

Is your cottage rental wheelchair accessible?

If it is we would welcome it on the site, and as a sign of appreciation we will throw in an extra month listing, on top of any existing offer.

Wheelchair accessible cottages are great for the elderly and those with disabilities. We recommend that you include extra descriptions, including type of access and any facilities which are adapted to wheelchair use, especially kitchens, bathrooms, parking, and access ramps.
